Bymax Bio is a personal health journal designed to help you record and visualize information about your own treatment. The information shown in the app is for informational and organizational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

What the app does

Bymax Bio records applications, doses, weight, body measurements, side effects, nutrition, menstrual cycle and other data you choose to enter, and organizes those records into charts and reports.

The app does not prescribe medications, does not connect you to healthcare professionals, does not recommend doses, does not interpret lab results and does not replace any clinical evaluation.

Always consult your doctor

Before starting, changing or stopping any medication, diet or treatment plan, talk to a qualified healthcare professional.

No clinical decision should be made based solely on the information recorded or shown by Bymax Bio.

In an emergency

Bymax Bio is not designed for urgent situations and its notifications and reminders are not guaranteed.

If you experience severe symptoms — intense abdominal pain, shortness of breath, severe hypoglycemia, signs of an allergic reaction or thoughts of self-harm — call emergency services immediately: 192 (SAMU) in Brazil, 911 in the United States, 112 in the European Union, or your local emergency number anywhere else.

Clinical decisions

Choosing the medication, the route of application, dose titration, treatment interruption and the interpretation of results are the exclusive responsibility of the professional caring for you.

Use the PDF and CSV reports generated by the app only as a conversation aid with your doctor, never as a diagnosis or prescription.

Dose and prescription

Bymax Bio never auto-fills dose values and never suggests dosage adjustments.

The dose, the frequency of applications and the route of administration must follow only your doctor's instructions and the medication's package insert.

Activity estimate

Estimated activity is an optional mathematical model: it is off by default and only appears if you turn it on under Settings › Tools. It works only for catalog medications the model can describe, given under the skin or into muscle, and explains inside the app how it calculates and where it is not reliable.

The calculation uses population-average half-life and absorption rate recorded in the app's catalog. For each medication, the catalog notes whether the compound has an approved product label or whether the values come from the literature alone; most values have not been checked one by one. Because they are averages, they do not account for your weight, kidney or liver function, food, injection site, rotation or drug interactions.

The percentage shown is relative to the peak of your own dosing pattern, worked out from your records. It is not a measurement of blood concentration, does not indicate a dose or when to inject, and does not replace guidance from a pharmacist or physician.

Risks of tracked medications

Bymax Bio tracks medications across multiple classes — GLP-1 agonists, hormones, research peptides, GH secretagogues, injectable vitamins and others — and each class has its own risks, contraindications and regulatory requirements. Always read the package insert, consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping any protocol, and never use medications without a prescription or of unknown origin.

As of October 2026, peptides such as BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, Hexarelin, GHK-Cu and Epithalon are not approved for human use by the FDA, the EMA or ANVISA — their use is experimental and at your own risk.

Compounded versions, products imported without registration or of unknown origin can pose additional health risks, including contamination, incorrect dosage and lack of quality control.

Female health and menstrual cycle

The menstrual cycle tracker in Bymax Bio is a tool for self-knowledge and for correlating your cycle with your protocol.

It is not a fertility app, does not detect ovulation for conception purposes and must not be used as a method of family planning or pregnancy prevention.

For contraception, family planning, infertility investigation or pregnancy follow-up, always consult a gynecologist or reproductive health service.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Several medications tracked by the app have use restrictions during pregnancy, while breastfeeding and for people planning to conceive.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before continuing treatment and before relying on any information shown in the app.

Limitations of records

The information shown by Bymax Bio depends on what you enter and may contain typos, omissions or outdated values; the app does not clinically verify or validate this data.

Predictions and correlations generated by the app — such as the predicted cycle phase or the weight curve — are estimates, not diagnoses.

Notifications and reminders

Bymax Bio reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, and they may fail for reasons outside our control: denied notification permissions, battery-saving modes and the operating system's scheduling limits. iOS caps how many notifications an app can keep pending, so the app limits how many reminders it keeps scheduled at any one time.

Do not treat the app's notifications as critical health alerts or as a substitute for an alarm for medications that must be taken on schedule.

Your responsibility

Using the app is a personal and voluntary decision.

By using it, you agree that any action based on the information shown is entirely your responsibility.
